Is it possible to see your own CORI?

Well, the answer is Yes! It is a very good idea to request your own CORI back ground check, especially if you are not sure what is on your record. When you get your CORI, you should look it over to make sure it is accurate.

Sometimes there are mistakes and you should make sure they will be fixed. If you think there are mistakes, you should contact the probation department of the court that handled the charges you think are wrong they will take care of that.

Is it free?

No! a cori report is not free, there is a fee to the cori report, but if you cannot afford it, you can fill out an Affidavit of Indecency to have the fee canceled.

Is that true that a CORI report is not easy to understand?

Yes! Original cori reportS are very hard to understand and you would need a professional help to understand it.

I think it is important to get help understanding it so you know exactly what is on your record and fix it when needed.

Another option is to click here and see your data there. On that website the data is easy to understand. Bear in mind that in spite of the fact that this data is updating on a daily basis it is not perfect as an original cori of course.
