PROMOTION Sample Letter #2
Dear (insert name):

Congratulations on your promotion!  I was so happy to hear your good news.

I can remember when you first joined the company you were a great asset to us all and now all your hard work and effort has paid off.  I think the thing I like the best in your is your attitude.  No matter what challenge we faced, you always helped find a solution.  Your energy and attitude reminded me of the inspirational poem, "Don't Quit".  You always kept going. You didn't let problems get in your way, your determination and your enthusiasm always found a way to make things work.

And now in your new position I know you will bring these qualities with you.  I look forward to working with you in your new role.  If there is anything I can do to assist you don't hesitate to let me know.

Again, my congratulations,
(insert name)
